Hello, I’m Vinita Chawla. My journey in the arts has been both unexpected and deeply fulfilling. Under the mentorship of the reputed artist Kavita Jaiswal, I have been learning not just how to create, but how to be an artist—immersing myself in the discipline, philosophy, and depth that shape a meaningful artistic practice. This mentorship has given me a profound understanding of art as a way of life, enriching my perspective and approach.
In Roots and Altered Realities, a two-person upcoming art show at Museo Camera, in Gurugram, India, I continue to engage with the artistic community, exchanging ideas and exploring new creative possibilities. Beyond art, my love for reading and music shapes my pursuits. As a dedicated member of the Delhi-based choir, Capital City Minstrels, I spend my Wednesday evenings immersed in music, navigating scores, and striving for the perfect harmony.
Additionally, I have a penchant for writing nonsense verse—an indulgence I wholeheartedly embrace.
